Illinois (Cont'd)

I floated east from the Rec-Plex. I wondered if the inmates at the prison enjoyed seeing the balloons fly past.

The wind took me over the south end of town. A few people shouted hello as I passed over their houses.

Off to the south, farmland spread out to the horizon, the occasional line of trees casting long shadows in the late afternoon sun.

On the outskirts of Pontiac, the Vermilion River wound through a pretty wooded area. I dropped down low again to enjoy the view.
