Driggs, Idaho (cont'd)

 

 

My balloons carried me north from the fairgrounds.

 

 

 

The wind direction was perfect now. I flew straight up the valley, with Ernie in his cloudhopper for company.

 

 

 

 

The valley was a rich green, scattered with houses and the feathery lines of irrigation. I dropped down low for a while, to enjoy the pretty farmland.

 

 

 

 

 

Larry and Victoria followed me in their jeep.

 

Then I dropped some ballast and let my balloons carry me higher for a wonderful view of the Tetons.
